We are MOVING!!!!
In the last year or so, Matt and I have casually looked at housing in this area, trying to get an idea of what to expect in a house at the current prices. Needless to say, it wasn't very encouraging. We prayed about it off and on, but I think I can speak for both of us that we didn't do it with a great measure of faith. Then when Matt was moved into the Youth Pastor position at church, we were even more aware of what we couldn't offer in our little apartment. There is no way we could have the Youth Group over to our apartment, so we continued to pray. The idea of a house seemed so close we could taste it, yet so far out of reach.
Then we got a call from a family who had recently moved away from this area to begin serving the Lord in the South. They were asking if we wanted to rent their house. Their house is a 4 bedroom with lots of yard that backs up to State property. It has too many amazing features to mention. Matt told me about his conversation with them and we immediately agreed that there was no use considering it because it would be out of our price range. So we called them back and explained it to them. A week later they called again and with a price. This time we realized that they were serious and that this might be the Lord's provision. So Matt and I prayed about it again and looked at our budget and then agreed on a price. They accepted it! We will be moving in on December 1st!
We are excited about the possibilities it opens up for us. We now have the space to have the Youth Group over and roast marshmallows, or play games in the basement. It also gives Matt an outlet for his green thumb (can't wait to see the result). We will also have plenty of room to have company over (overnight guests as well!). We are so grateful to the Lord for his provision. He knew what we needed and when and provided even more than we could ever have imagined. Praise the Lord!

SO exciting! I can't wait for the pictures, and to be your first (?) family overnight guests! LY MUCH
WHAT GREEN THUMB????!!!!
He SAID that he liked to do yard work and landscaping etc. so I just assumed that he has done it before and would be good at it (like he is good at everything else that he does). Maybe that wasn't a good assumption to make?
Can't wait to see pictures!!! Are they coming soon?? :-)
We won't get into the house until November 21 so the pics will hopefully be on soon after that. Sorry to keep you waiting . . .
