Eleven Years in Training . . .
For a long time now, Matt has been feeling called back to youth ministry, however we couldn't really write about it on our blog, due to it's somewhat sensitive nature. After Wednesday night, we are now free to talk openly about it because Matt has officially been hired as the Youth Pastor of the Sparta Evangelical Free Church.
Eleven years ago God called Matt into ministry, and he thought that meant youth ministry. When God led him to Sparta to do music, it was a little confusing, but God had a plan. Now that plan has come full circle and Matt now has his dream job, what he has looked forward to for so long. We are excited to see what God has in store for this youth group!

Yay for you guys! I'm happy things have finally worked out. God's timing is perfect!
Hey Matt,
You're an extremely gifted young man but I always knew there was something (or better yet, someone) missing. Now that the Lord has graciously provided the missing piece (or better yet, person), I'm not surprised to hear that the Lord is leading the two of you into a new, exciting ministry direction. I'll be praying for you both as you undertake this new ministry assignment. May God richly and abundantly bless you in the days, weeks, and years to come.
Your brother in Christ,
