Longwood Gardens

For months Matt and I had been planning to go to Longwood Gardens in PA. We decided to stop on our way back from Baltimore where we had been for Matt's sister's graduation.

We enjoyed our time at Longwood immensely. Being that it was a weekday, it was not over-run with people, although there were quite a few seniors. It was amazing to me to see so many different kinds of flowers and trees. I don't understand how people can look at all of creation and believe there is no God.

The most intriguing thing that I saw there were the bonsai trees. What is a bonsai tree you might ask? Bonsai is the art of growing trees and plants, kept small by being grown in a pot and by the use of skilled pruning, formed to create an aesthetic shape and the illusion of age.

The flowers all around were absolutely stunning! Below are a few pictures that we took.

OK - so now that I found it, you have to post something more frequently to keep me coming back! It's lonely checking each day and finding nothing new....:^( . But I do love the pictures and the posts I've already read!

Only people who live in TN have enough time to post every day . . . however I will do my best.
