Our New Home!

It really seems like a miracle that we in fact bought a house, for too many reasons to list. Our closing, which was supposed to take place on Oct. 2 was pushed to the 3rd, then the 6th, and then the 7th! By the time the 7th rolled around, we had a hard time believing that it was really going to happen. Everyone involved in the closing process said "closings aren't supposed to go like this. This is the worst one I've seen!" The hard part was, we had people lined up to help us move on Thursday, then Friday, then Monday, but Tuesday, when we ACTUALLY closed, there weren't very many people available to help. So, we finally finished moving at 12:30am this morning. We were exhausted, but so glad to finally be in! Being that we have a retreat this weekend and something going on almost every night for the next two weeks, I think we will be looking at those boxes for some time, but we really don't care because we finally have a house! Matt and I were laying in bed last night saying, "it's so beautifully quiet and peaceful!" Thank you all for your prayers on our behalf! They were greatly needed and greatly appreciated!
