First Snowboarding of the Year!

Thanks to the weather cooperating, Matt and I were able to take our boards for a test run yesterday. Although it has rained a lot lately, the ski hill has been keeping up with their snow making machines. It was quite comical to watch Matt on the way up the chairlift. He was like a little kid right before Christmas! I think it was a little harder than he anticipated. It didn't help that the "snow" was mostly ice, making falls very painful. We both came back with bruises. I am hoping to take our camera next time and get some shots.
